Tostadas are corn tortillas that have been fried flat until golden brown and crisp in hot lard or oil, and then covered with various combinations of meats, poultry, fish, sauces, chiles, etc.
Tostadas Tapatias
3 chorizo sausages
2 cups frijoles refritos
12 tostadas
shredded lettuce
1 onion, minced
2 cups guacamole
3 tablespoons fresh Mexican cheese
Skin, chop and fry the chorizo. Heat up the beans. Spread the beans on the tostadas; follow with a layer of chorizo, a layer of lettuce, a little onion, some guacamole and a sprinkling of cheese.
